Notably, Gujarat lost their first game of the season before embarking on a four-match winning streak. However, Lucknow Super Giants halted their joyous progress by beating the Shubman Gill-led side at home by six wickets earlier this week. GT posted 180/6 in their 20 overs, but Lucknow chased it down with six wickets in hand and three balls to spare. The 2022 champions will be keen to get back to winning ways on Saturday. A win will help them move to the top of the table. Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, have performed like a well-oiled machine under new captain Axar Patel. They have registered five wins and one defeat from their first six matches and currently sit at the top of the points table. After four back-to-back wins to start the campaign, Delhi suffered a gut-wrenching 12-run defeat from a winning position against the Mumbai Indians. However, they bounced back with a Super Over win against the Rajasthan Royals in their most recent fixture and will be high on confidence. 

Best economical pick –  Kuldeep Yadav has picked up 11 wickets from six matches at an average of 13.18 and a strike rate of 13.09. He has bowled his overs at an economy rate of 6.04, which is remarkable, especially in modern-day T20 cricket. Kuldeep's spell through the middle overs will be crucial for the Capitals.

Top captains & vice captains – KL Rahul has won player of the match in the two matches this season having scored half centuries in both of them. He will be a good captaincy pick. Sai Sudharsan has been consistently performing well with the bat for the Gujarat Titans. He has scored 329 runs from six innings at an average of 54.83 and a strike rate of 151.61. The southpaw has registered four fifties, with a highest score of 82 off 53 balls against the Rajasthan Royals. Sudharsan will be looking to continue his excellent run of form on Saturday. 

Smart pick – Shubman Gill has done well for Gujarat Titans in the last few seasons and 426 runs in 12 matches last season. He will be a smart pick.

Cautious Pick – Jake Fraser-McGurk was a breakout star in IPL 2024, scoring 330 runs in nine matches at an extraordinary strike rate of 234.04, showcasing his aggressive opening batting style and immense potential. However, in IPL 2025, his form has drastically declined, with just 55 runs in six matches at a low average of 9.16 and a strike rate of 105.76, including multiple ducks and a significant drop in consistency and rhythm. Given his poor performance so far in IPL 2025, it would be advisable to avoid picking Jake Fraser-McGurk in your fantasy team at this stage.
