DC will take on LSG in the fourth match of the IPL 2025. This match will be played at Rajasekhara Reddy in Visakhapatnam. 74 matches will be played across 13 cities over the next two months as the IPL fever kicks off. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be played in Hyderabad on May 20 and 21, respectively. Qualifier 2, on May 23, and the final, on May 25, will be in Kolkata. Delhi Capitals have made a lot of changes in the mega auction and they will be led by Axar Patel. KL Rahul has been picked up along with Faf du Plessis and Mitch Starc and they have a balanced squad and will be hoping to have a good season. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants will be led by Rishabh Pant. They had seven wins and seven losses in the previous edition and finished seventh in the table. They have an explosive battng lineup and will be loooking to put up a good performance. This promises to be an excitng match between these two sides.

Best economical pick – Jake McGurk smashed 50 of 15 balls a few times in the last season. He will be an explosive option at the top of the order.

Top captains & vice captains – Lucknow Super Giants batter Nicholas Pooran was the second leading run-scorer of the side in the previous season with 499 runs to his name from 14 innings at an average of 62.37 and a strike rate of 178.21 with three fifties. Retained for INR 21 crore, the southpaw will be responsible for taking his team out of tricky situations. Delhi Capitals' newly announced skipper Axar Patel can be the game changer for the upcoming game against LSG. Patel, who was part of India's T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025 winning teams, will be riding high on confidence. Notably, in the previous edition, the left-armer picked 11 wickets in 14 games. With Visakhapatnam pitch helping the spinners, the Delhi Capitals captain will be handy in the middle-overs.

Smart pick – KL Rahul scored 520 runs in 14 matches at an average of 37 in the previous edition. He is a reliable batter and will be a good option for this match. 

Cautious Pick – The right-arm pacer Akash Deep is reportedly dealing with injury issues sustained during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and is unlikely to play in the initial matches of the IPL 2025 season.
